Good write-up bro, some thought provoking ideas! Personally, I think there’s many ways to look at society. From my perspective we aren’t slaves (particularly in NZ). I believe freedom is a state of mind regardless of what the dominant culture has going on. Also, freedom represents different things to different people - my life could be slavery to someone else’s life and vice versa. Personally, I’d rather change my attitude towards life rather than try and change the external world itself - there’s a lot to be grateful for. Society takes a lot but it gives a lot too. I don’t really like politics of any kind because it's usually anchored in the seriousness of the mind. I feel I have more valuable things to do. I think if you feel exploited or treated unjustly then you will want to explore the ideas that you are talking about in your blog…and this is good - the system needs people like yourself to help it along and evolve.
Thanks. Great words as always, Mr Travvy. Much appreciated. I like. State of mind is key for sure. Life balance too. Focus on what is important to each of us individually. I've personally created a life that is pretty sweet by my definition anyway; working for myself, on my time, from anywhere in the World (at least where they allow us 'non-jabbers' anyway – can't go to Bali at the mo). I generally fly 'under the radar' as well however those days may be numbered. Haha. However, with a belief that none of us are really free until we're all free and with the luxury of time to research key issues that enslave us I feel I am in a place to research, boil down, and disseminate information, hopefully in an approachable step by step and digestible manner. I say that and also believe and know us to be free for sure. Many just need to realise it and step into that. Stick around, I'll expand on things further. Always interested in your perspective my friend.
A sincere thanks to Mr Travvy for picking up one spelling mistake and one word omission. I have disciplined both infractions appropriately! Boom.
